.....that James Stewrt will finally learn his lesson and not try to win every race this year in the motocross series?

I think he is a great talent but needs to slow down to win more titles. I think that if he can be more consistant rather than do the win or die trying thing, he will not only have a longer career, but he will win more titles as well....

What do you think?

I think Stewart will slow down (a little) now that RC has retired. But, We will see.

Yes, we should win several titles. Stewart actually has a smoother style, and I think more speed than Carmichael..he does lack the experience, though.

Actually, that was Carmichael's MO at near the same point in his career-just RC has that bob Hannah ability to save the bike from crashing-one that Stewart lcaks entirley. Also, at that point in RC's career, no one else was close to his speed.

BTW, do you think so many questions of his judgement and assumptions of his intelligence would be made of a white rider?

As a white mx racer and 30+ year fan, I would say not. Maybe some people are afraid that we may have more black riders in mx, and therefore more riders overall.

I hope he becomes more recognized and respected too-perhaps if RC has much success in NASCRAP, mx ers will be respected. Also, I can't wait for the 1st Ricky Bobby who tries to punch RC in NASCRAP and gets suprised.

If he learns how to be consistant, he will do just fine. He has proven that he has the speed to win, and that has never been in question, but you are right in saying that he has the win or die trying riding style. Now with RC gone, he should only be woried about grant langston.
