  1. I use it for everything except towels because I love the scent it leaves on things. I don't use it on towels because sooner or later there is a build up and it makes the towel less absorbent and harder to get dry.

  2. I use a fabric conditioner to reduce static, especially on synthetics or synthetic blends, particularly during the winter.

On cottons, like t-shirts, it make them feel softer.

I don't use it on fabrics where absorbency is important, like dish towels or face cloths.  I do use it on bath towels, however, for the softer feeling.

I am careful to avoid using fabric conditioner with the new microfiber cloths that don't need soap.  It clogs them, and they don't work any more.

  3. I use Downy Fabric Softener, so the laundy is softer and more comfortable to wear or use. Good luck!

  4. I use the Downy brand of fabric softener and it keeps the clothes smelling good and helps to soft them up.

  5. I use Kirtlands(SP) brand from Costco, Love the smell and the price.
