How did you acquire them?

Was it superstitious people that inspired that fear in you?

NO ive done all of the above. although bloody mary was freaky. nothing happens.

Its stuff people have made up to scare people so they sound tough

well superstitions are set of beliefs and rituals that have evolved and became part of the culture over the time...

all superstitions are not fake, some of them have reasons behind them which is not clear to us today..

some superstitions have arose due to associations of the vent with something ill..

but it is not necessary that all superstitions are fake..

Im not sure. I can tell you that my beloved Grandma was a transplant from Yugoslavia where those myths & monsters are real. As real as your sitting right there. Bats she told were on a mission to get in your hair. That was their sole purpose in this world. There was 1/2 wolf & 1/2 man that lives @ the edge of all bodies of water. On New Years eve the first soul thru herr door had to be a male or the next year would not be prosperous. ( Gramma-we get our groceries @ the store now so its OK!) Never-ever give away clothing without placing coins in the pockets of the garment, especially any type of handbag or wallet. Thats only a samplin of some of the best of Gramma.

Superstitions, no.  OCD, yes.  When I count, it has to end in even numbers, odd numbers are just bad in general.  Everything I do must be done a certain way, or it has to be re-done.

i live in india and here is a well known superstition that if a you are walking on the road and a black cat cross the road in front of you then don't pass it till any other guy don't pass through.
