Does 100% cotton shrink?

Question

because i am normally a small and i want this shirt http://www.tillys.com/tillys/variants.aspx?prod=136606150&ctlg=020_Girls&ctg=010_Girls_TeesTanks&parentctg=010_Girls_TeesTanks&rank=212&size=-1&source=1 but it is a medium and normally mediums are too big so does 100% cotton shrink?

i would assume if you are normally a small, then some of your shorts that are labeled small are 100% cotton and fit you, too. Cotton does shrink, but this shirt already looks fairly long to begin with. I'd say look for your size.

Yes 100% cotton does and will shrink. If you buy the proper size, small, then only wash according to directions and hand or lay flat to dry, or dry clean.

Some cottons are Pre-Shrunk, check on that.
