Does *67 work on phones??

Question

I heard that if you wanted to make a phone call without it showing up on someones caller ID you use *67 before you dial. Does this work?? I tried it once when I was calling a cell phone but my number still showed up. I'm not doing prank calls or anything but I want to call my boyfriend and if he doesn't pick up and sees my number later he gets REALLY worried and freaks out.

yeah it works i do it all *67 u can find out who it was by dialing *69

Yes, I use it all the time if needed, but it doesn't work on blocked numbers.

yea it does work.

maybe you didnt dial it the right way.

just put something like *67-555-1234

but i know some phones block private numbers like that and wont take the phone call.
