I just got a library card 2 days ago and checked out 7 books that looked interesting... I have already read 2 of them and they were pretty good... but I dont like reading much unless they are interesting books... and thats why i have read so much lately... Im only 17 about to be 18 soon... and i like stories about young adult/teen life... pretty much things that teens face such as suicide, crime, g*y, issues with family, pregnancy, teasing, school issues... and pretty much anything teens go through in life and struggles they have... does anyone have any suggestions on any good books like these and if u could possibly give me just a quick summary of the book....

thanks

  1. Here's a list of books you might like to try:

  2. The Revealers -- about school bullying and how to defend against it.

The Gospel According to Larry -- about making your own life, according to your own goals and objectives.

Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz-- about a young man who has a special paranormal talent. It's basically a murder mystery, but along the way you get a good view of the hero's basic philosophy of life, which is quite inspiring.  If you like the book, there are now 4 books in the Odd Thomas series (the others are Brother Odd, Odd Hours and Forever Odd).

    Hope this helps. Good luck.
