Does Canada Post deliver on weekends?

Question

Since last Friday I've been expecting a package. It was expected to be delivered here today, but it did not arrive. So I'm guessing it will be here with in the next few days. But since I'm very impatient I was wondering if Canada Post delivers on weekends?

While it will ship packages and letters to regions and cities, it only delivers to final destination Monday to Friday.

Canada Post is Government Run......Government = Mon to Friday

It is hard when you are expecting something and it seems like it is taking forever to get to you,  unfortunately you will have to wait a few more days.

If you know the tracking number you can submit it on line to find out where the package is.
