Question:

Does Mass = Space? And wormholes.?

Can we say that mass defines space? For example, if there was only A and B, can we say that the mass of A and B defines where each stand in relation to each other? If so we could say that space is relative?

So I'm wondering then, wouldn't it be impossible to create a so-called "worm hole" because in order to "fold" space to bring two distant locations close to one another you would actually end up "crushing" everything in between?

  1. In true space there is no mass.

And: no human being has ever, nor will ever, been/be able to define the limits of space, simply because space has NO boundaries, no ends, no limits, no time, NO Anything aat all.  Many men have gone insane trying to understand the true concept of space.  Mass is merely the close cohesion of electrons in various forms and as we all know, there is still a lot of space in a steel bar.

  2. no. if you have a complete vacuum that area still exists, the area is filled with space.

and yes, space is relative in a way. einstein proved that. distances as perceived by one person can possibly differ from those perceived by another depending on differences in velocity and gravitational pull.

but that doesnt mean that folding space would result in crushing anything. your thinking of space as 2 dimensional, and we just sit on the surface of space, that is not the case. space is 3 dimensional. picture the universe like a 4 dimensional balloon, with 3 dimensional space being the surface, we live on that surface. so any folding would take place in the 4th dimension, in which we do not exist.

  3. No.

    Mass does not DEFINE space...

    Mass OCCUPIES space.

If there were nothing there, it would still be space (albeit empty space.)

For wormholes, you need to think outside of the four dimensional box

    i.e.; length, width, depth, time.
