  1. We have lakes you know. Like, Mexico has jungles and forests, it's not all desert (and een in the desert there's oasis and lakes).

Mexicans don't drink tap water without using chlorine, boiling or putting iodine in it. I've had fellow classmates do tests on whether the tap water of my university was germ free and it was; but it's a sort of a cultural thing here to be paranoid about having clean water and disinfected veggies and fruit. I kinda find americans to be savages because they don't disinfect the raw veggies they eat personally.

In heavily rural areas with little human contact, there's pure water that can be drunk directly.

  2. yeah of course, im living in california right  now and everyone thinks that water is toxic in mexico but i lived there for 16 years and water is the same than heres, i never got sicki because of it and actually it is tastier

  3. absolutely yes, you can find out easily in mass media that Mexico has fresh water as well as another country in South America

  4. What do you mean by fresh water...do you mean can you drink the tap water?   There are plenty of lakes and rivers full of "fresh" water, but you cannot drink it.  If that is what you are asking, the answer is no.  Nobody drinks the tap water.  Bottled water is available everywhere.  Resorts and tourist areas use it for cooking ,ice and serving.  All restaurants use it. Hotels put it in the rooms to brush your teeth with.  See article below.

  5. yes, but I would stick to drinking bottled water if you are not accustom to it.

  6. Lots of fresh water, we just dont drink it. Bottled water widely available. For fresh water fishing check the internet lots of websites.
