Does Organic mean Non Irradiated?

Question

Now with a whole slew of products being Irradiated, and non really having the radura symbol on them, how do you know if a product has not been Irradiated.

Can buying Organic tell me that?

Organic food is most likely not irradiated. No guarantee, but much more likely.

By the way, what kinds of foods are you referring to? This is new to me.

Organic means it was grown without the use of pesticides.

You can't always tell if something has been irradiated or not.

Of course with the recent loosening of rules for organic foods its harder to tell which foods are truly organic.

Also raw almonds are no longer allowed now - and must be flash pasturized.
