Does Royal Mail work on sundays?

READ THIS - I know theres no post on Sundays... but, do they still move about internally sorting things out, getting them to destination post offices so that the next day you get the things?

Or does everything just stop for a day?

It's a seven days a week service. You don't see them but they are there!

If your out and about on Sundays, you will see plenty of big Royal Mail lorries - these are transporting post around.

As you say, there is no actual post but the lovely posties are in the sorting offices getting ready to post stuff to you.

I have had something posted on a Saturday that arrived at it's destination on the Monday.

they dont deliver, but they sort saturdays mail ready for munday

sunday staff will work and sort mail but there will be no actual deliverys to houses!!! hope this helps

Yes, they sort and transport mail on sundays, just don't deliver any more.

Yes, they still work on Sundays.

No collections and no deliveries though as you said.

Royal Mail work through the night as well.
