-Its a nice poem, trying to teach the value of praise and gratitude fro the things you have, while thinking about those who don`t HAVE.... Its not silly, although not very epical... Still I would read it to children to try and instill some gratitude, or even some moral maybe...

It's something about how you should be grateful for all the things you have and how you shouldn't take everything for granted... and to be honest it's really exasperating.
