  2. For some reason, Joshua doesn't seem to flow well as a middle name for any first name.

    Having two three-syllable names is a bit rough. Maybe a two-syllable name such as

    David Joshua

    Marco Joshua

    Or use Joshua as a first name with a one-syllable middle name:

    Joshua Zack

    Joshua Zane
