  1. If it is a branded recovery disk (HP, Dell, etc...) it should include drivers. If it just looks like a standard windows recovery disk, it only includes standard windows drivers.


  2. It depends but most newer computers do.

    My new HP computer came with a "Recovery DVD" that formatted (erased) and reinstalled everything like the computer was new (all the way down to trial-software).

    My previous (Dell) computer came with a OS Reinstall CD (basically the same as the MS one) and then a Driver Reinstall CD.

    If it doesn't have the drivers, you can download the drivers on another comptuer and burn them to CD - just go to the computer manufacturer's website and find your model of computer under support/downloads section.

    EDIT:

    Many new computers don't have discs at all - but a recovery program that's built-in (usually a special key like F11 during bootup) and that would always have the drivers included.
