Does an adults playground exist?

Question

Ages ago, i saw a feature on a tv programme that an adults only playground/play area just opened somewhere outside london i think. Any ideas as to what it's called/where it is etc..

And by playground, i mean swings, slides, see saw's, climbing frames etc

There is an adult playground...it's called Vegas.

But keeping within the bounds of the question, if there isn't, it's a brilliant idea. Get a bit of exercise...recapture your lost youth. The only problem I see with it is that kids don't litigate over skinned knees, adults do.

Basically, I would consider theme parks to be adult playgrounds.  I mean, they do also have stuff for kids, but when you think about it, rides like the Pirate Ship are like a bigger, more intense version of the swings at playgrounds.  They've got giant water slides instead of the little ones at playgrounds from when you were a kid.

As we get older, it takes a lot more to dazzle and astonish us.  Theme park rides, essentially, take that sense of joy from swinging on a swingset as a child, and upgrade it to suit our adult standards of what is fun.

Personally, though,  even as much as I love roller coasters (and do prefer them), I am well aware from personal experience that adults can enjoy swingsets just as much as children can!

If you're just looking for a place to use playground equipment, there's really no reason why a bunch of adults can't get together to play on it!  If you go after dark, you should have the park to yourself.  Sure, the equipment might be a little small for you, but it's definitely a good time, regardless.

adults grow out of it because they have too much to worry about.

theyre usually disabled

but ive never seen a playground for adults..

id be scared if i did.

It's called the bed room! Usually on the top floor of a house. You can get all kind of swings now, you kinky minx! I've a pole you can climb!

So-called adult playgorunds have existed for many years in countries such as Sweden, Denmark, China, Singapore, Malaysia, etc. The UK recently played catch-up when a park in Blackley, Manchester installed one. But they have more adult hardware for helping adults to develop their strength.
