Does anybody else cringe when.........?

those stupid kidz bop cd's come on tv? i know when my boys get old enought to actually want things........they will never get that. i dont know if i could handle that......

I thought I would cringe when my 8 year old daughter got one as a gift, But really it's not that bad.  They are great cleaned up versions of popular songs. You will totally find this to be true, since it beats the alternatives.....foul language and sexual innuendo or...BARNEY! As a child development major, and mother of one 10 yr. old, there could be worse things to listen to, really.

very annoying, and true they are singing songs about love and s*x. Sure, the songs don't have to directly say that, but it's true. I tsk and say "they are wayyy to young to sing that song, or even know what they're singing about". I was very upset when the two year old I babysit was singing "Girlfriend" from the kids bop. (Hey hey you you I don't like your girlfriend) umm elementary kids SHOULD NOT have relationships!

If you want mixed cds that are clean, get Now That's What I Call Music. They usually bleep out the bad parts (excluding words like d**n and h**l), but it's the actual singers who sing the songs.

Yes. Sometimes they sing songs that are a little too mature for them...

And they usually ruin the songs...
