Does anyone like expensive watches?

Do people here like expensive watches (£1000+)? If so why, if not why not?

I personally like expensive watches (I have 7) - when you wear one and someone sees it they respect you more, which is good because in London other people always try to act like they are above you - and in stores or places you get treated much better.

N.B If people don't like expensive watches say something constructive, - most people that claim they dont like expensive watches, and wouldnt be caught dead wearing one, come across as jealous of people with money. I'm sure nearly everyone likes expensive watches, it's just they are too pricey, but would love one if they were given it free.

I think you answered your own question.  Besides, who needs watches when you can get the accurate time on a cell phone or other networked electronic device.  Wear straight jewelry if you want to show off.
