Why would you want to? People grow and change constantly. What attracts you in 8th grade certainly isn't the same as in 10th or 12th or college and beyond. If the two of you are still in a relationship from 8th grade you haven't grown, experienced life, or changed at all. booorrring

Yes, why not? I have a cousin who dated one woman his whole life. They met in elementary school. They have been married for over 7 years and are still extremely happy. I met my husband (of 9 years) in high school and we are still extremely happy. It just takes lots of communication and compromise.
