That is an occultic instruement. It will allow demons to become attracted to the person that uses it. So don't use any.

Crystals will work fine...really any pendant/stone/object that you're attracted to will work for you.

Be sure to 'bless' it & make it your own. You should also clear the energy from it periodically...I believe one way to do this is to set it on your windowsill during a full moon, but you'll have to double check that (I read it somewhere but I'm a believer in doing whatever is comfortable to you, as long as you're sincere it'll work fine).

I have one I wear as a necklace, have worn it constantly for about 20 years, small lapis set in silver.

If you are going to try hypnosis, it does work, but like every thing else hypnosis is only a lie, cause the subject do what the hypnotist say and make the hypnotist will his own only if he want to ,but you can not make any body hypnotized

In general I don't find much difference with using crystal from metal or wooden pendulums. So I think it largely comes down to personal choice.

I know quite a few people who have a lot of success and accuracy with dowsing. I think it comes down to practice.

Crystal pendulums work just as well as any other pendulum.  That is, they swing back and forth.

EDIT: Dowsing doesn't work.  Crystals are not magical.

How do some of these people know what is and isn't of God?  Answer: they don't.

Any mass at the end of a free swinging rope will work as a pendulum. A crystal tied to a rope would work just fine.

The period is not based on the weight or size of the object. The only factor that should effect the period of the pendulum will be the length of the rope.

Be careful in what you do. this can be dangerous territory.I tried dowsing and for a while it worked very well. I was using "L" rods and looking for gold. I found some by asking for it according to instructions. It was never revealed exactly who or what I was asking from. I felt very creeped out about this and asked God in prayer to allow it if it was from Him.The ability stopped immediatly. I was never able to find another piece of gold again.This means that God does not approve of this "magic". Pendulums and any other sort of divination is all related and you are dealing with forces that may be beyond your ability to deal with.Beware!
