I think it's something in your mind that makes you think you NEED it to look presentable.

I think that annoying bright blue that goes all the way up to the eyebrow is gross, but if it's a light color on top then darker at the bottom it looks beautiful! I love to expiriment with color on my eyes. =]

of course not, it ads color to your life (yeah, that to your face) , be careful with exaggerating and if you do well you are expressing your self I guess.

yes.  its just unnecessary.  not actually gross, but girls look better with very little.
