Does hammerite kurust expire?

Question

got a tub here and noticed there is a date on the top, its dated a few months ago and doesnt say expires then. so is it production date or expiry?

Production date - slap it on!

It only expires if it has been exposed to the atmosphere and it changes colour.

dont know about that but hammerite highheat only works for around six months, i was using it on a high heat generator exhust!
