My boyfriends parents the other day threatened to kick him out he came see me. His mum then sent me an email saying that she likes to see her son too that is why she said it, yet he is normally at his house as we have different working times. I mainly work during the week, himself mainly weekends. I don't understand as we only see one another about 3 times a week and I have always been polite and nice to both of them. Please help. I dont understand why they are like this. (me and my boyfriend dont live together. He is nearly 19 im 18 and have been together well over a year)

  1. For some strange reason mothers have a bond with their sons no matter if they like it or not, no woman is good enough for him, prob because women know what they are like.

All you can do is talk to your partner and try if you can to continue your relationship on your own 2 company 3 a crowd.  I would not bother making a fuss and try really hard, why should you, be who you are and all you can be.  It is up to them to sort there issue/problem without causing and trouble between you and your partner

  2. does it really matter if his parents dont like you?

as long as you love each other then youll be fine. unless youre madly in love with each other and then you get separated if you go to different unis. in which case you could change both youre lives by going together even if youre prospects are completely different

    good luck.

  3. Dump him ! And girl learn how to type ! I had to re - read your question ten times ! I couldn't understand it ! Your weak !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. Maybe they feel you are taking their son away from them, they might feel that since you have come on the scene he does not spend much time with them and may feel it is you that does not like them.

The best medthod in this situation is communication sit down with them or even ring them and ask them if there is something you have done to offend them you will soon find your answer. :)

  5. She's probably finding it difficult to let her little boy grow up, some mothers get very protective over their sons if they seem to be putting a girlfriend first. Best thing to do is try and keep yourself out of any situation involving your boyfriend and his parents and hope if they don't see you often they'll lighten up, enjoy the time with your boyfriend instead and let them see you're serious about each other and they should come round in the end. It's not an easy position to be in but may improve with time, my fella's mum did the same thing but 8 years on we're actually pretty close, only time and perseverance can really tell on this one, I wish you all the best.

  6. That's just parents for you, They don't wanna leave they're precious children. they are just being over protective i think.
