Does hugging put you off?

Makes me really uncomfortable to be hugged by someone I hardly or even know a little. Same for you? Seem phoney, too.

I'm with you. We belong to a church that has been trying to become a "hugging" church. You know, everyone hugs everyone...I've had to tell them that our family is not against hugging, but, we feeling hugging is personal and we prefer not to be hugged by people we hardly know. Especially uncomfortable with one or two of the adult men that would hug our young daughters.

I agree! I think it has a lot to do with how they were raised. Some people are raised to be all touchy feely huggy with everyone they meet. I hate it. I don't even want to hug my family, why would I want to hug some person I just met 10 minutes ago. It makes me really uncomfortable.
