Does newton's cradle ever stop?

im talking about in the real world.. is there a newton's cradle that will never stop?

if i was to go and buy one.. just to place on my desk, i want one that is as close to the real thing as possible; how accurate can they get in regards to not stopping?

    1.Dissipation of heat due to friction at the ends of the strings and where the balls collide

    2.Energy loss due to "clacking" sound produced


  2. The ones that don't stop have a battery in them -- sometimes hidden very well.
