  1. no, the space in the universe is infinite and it keeps on expanding even to today.

  2. Yes.  It's in my back yard.

And, yes, there's space on the other side of the wall, but it's not my responsibility.

The Visible Universe ends when, due to the expansion of space, things just beyond it are moving away from us at the speed of light.  The Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation comes from such a point.

We expect that there's more stuff much as we have here on the other side of this point, but we'll never get any evidence of it.  In fact, if you shine a laser in any direction, it will never catch up to anything anywhere near the current edge of the Visible Universe.  Not ever.

Perhaps you've heard of black holes.  The gravity is so powerful that not even light can escape, yada, yada, yada.  Well, the Visible Universe is a white hole.  Things can leave the Visible Universe, and stuff does all the time.  But nothing can get back in.

  3. no, space does not have a wall.

  4. According to the general belief of most modern scientists, the universe goes on infinitely.  But who knows what's really out there at the 'end of the universe'.  I guess we'll find out someday. . .

  5. 1st Heaven- atmosphere

2nd heaven- the cosmos, outside of that is what we call the 3rd Heaven.

    2 Corinthians 12:2-5

  6. no it has a exit billions of lightyears away.

  7. In a manner of speaking, the universe has an edge that cannot be crossed, because at about 15 billion light years distance the expansion rate of space exceeds the speed of light relative to us.  The universe itself exists beyond this point, but we can never see or go there because nothing can travel faster than light, except for the expansion of space itself.  Although in science fiction faster than light travel is possible, I don't believe that to be true because it creates impossible paradoxes having to do with the passage of time.  Namely, that two objects could experience time flow slower than the other, which is of course a non sequitur.

  8. No. Space is a galaxy; never ending.

  9. yea i helped place the bricks and mortar myself actually

  10. If you're referring to the space you're in now, it probably does have at least one wall. Most folks sitting at a computer are inside a building, but even if you're outside, you are probably within sight of a building and can see its walls.

But if you're in a spaceship millions of miles from Earth, you still have the walls of your spaceship there. Walls are everywhere you are - most of the time.

  11. No it's infinite

  12. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. Strangely yes it does.  Certainly not of brick but in 1989 Margaret Geller and John Huchra discovered the "Great Wall," a sheet of galaxies more than 500 million light-years long and 200 million wide, but only 15 million light-years thick. The existence of this structure escaped notice for so long because it requires locating the position of galaxies in three dimensions, which involves combining location information about the galaxies with distance information from redshifts.
