  1. yes.

    because it is similar with x-country and track for long distances.u have to work on speed or else you wont be able to pick up ur stride or pace.

    so yes sprinting would definitely help build your stamina.


  2. not really if you want to buid swimming stamina over swim which means whatever event you swim practice way more than that so when you do swim your event it will seem really easy

  3. Not by definition. Stamina is the idea of muscles persisting over time. Therefore, long distance running builds stamina. Sprinting, though, is just good for trying to maximize muscle power.
