Yes, just take the ACT. They are more important. Also, if you don't feel like going to a big college, just go to a community school. It actually depends what you are majoring in also.

Yes the SATs are necessary if you want to go to any college (unless it's a community college).  Yes, it has a direct effect on whether or not you get accepted to college.  It is definitely NOT a waste of money.
