  1. Sometimes she does, like if she doesn't relax, or stresses out or does too much strenuous physical activity or drugs/alcohol. But most of the time it is just nature doing itsjob. Some fetuses are not healthy enough to be born or develop properly.

  2. Fault is a very poor choice of word here.

Aspects of the physiology of the "mother" cause "spontaneous" abortions.  Also, conditions present in the fetus that might result from the genetic incompatibility of the "mother" and "father" may contribute.

It could be due to poor diet, age (too old or too young to carry to full term), drug and alcohol use, a fall or otherwise being injured, or many other things.

Generally the mother is not to blame.

  3. Sometimes it's something wrong with the embryo/fetus. Sometimes it just happens. It's not the mothers FAULT unless she miscarrys because of drug or alcohol use.

  4. A miscarriage is usually the result of chromosomal abnormalties in the baby, uterine abnormalties in the mother, or other problems associated with the mother, ex. some women don't produce enough progesterone to sustain a pregnancy and in order to carry to term they usually take progesterone suppositories during the first trimester. It is not the mother's fault for the miscarriage.

  5. Sometimes it is NOT the mothers fault and sometimes it is. Depends on how healthy the mother is and how good she takes care of herself and her unborn child...

  6. there are a number of  different reasons for misccariage but usually have nothing to do with what the mother does

  7. mostly it is nothing anyone has done wrong ,it is natures way of dealing with mistakes such as defects or there is something physically wrong  but unless she  are a junky it is not her  fault ..

  8. In 99% of all cases, no.

Miscarriages happen when there is a development or chromosomal abnormality with the embryo that would have prevented it from ever developing correctly.

However, drinking and drug use and other dangerous activity could surely cause a miscarriage during a perfectly healthy pregnancy.

  9. For the post part no. Usually it's just because the baby wasn't developing right. And just because you have one doesn't mean you won't go on to have a healthy baby next time.

  10. Not usually. If a mother is diabetic and doesn't have good control over her blood sugars, it can cause a miscarriage, or a premature birth, but most miscarriages/pregnancy loss, or still births are accidents.

  11. Its almost always a genetic defect and nothing the mother did has any cause.  A healthy fetus will generally stick.
