  1. I have 2 kids one only 15 months old. And from what I understand you can get the same benefit from just eating the yogurt. I would try to just eat the yogurt first for a few days and see if it helps if not then try that.

  2. Yes, it works.  Do what your doctor told you to do.

  3. You can also add to your daily routine acidophiles.  This worked amazingly well for me.  Acidophiles is a naturally occurring bacteria in yogurt.

  4. Yes, because you have an imbalance probably due to hormone fluctuation.  You can try just spreading it on a sanitary pad.  Definitely do something because it will worsen.  You must stay away from sugar and "white" refined carbs (breads, pasta, white rice) because they are the equivalent to fuel to fire for bad bacteria growth.

Also, yogurt is beneficial to enhancing good bacteria growth in the intestinal track.  You should eat a good quality (ex:  Stonyfield Organic) every day.

  5. did she say that you could use acidolphilus; that's the "good bacteria" found in yogurt? because that stuff does work really well. hopefully she's given you instructions as to how to squirt it up inside of you and all. you may want to ask the doc if you could just drink or take pills of acidophilus instead.

  6. yes it works

  7. Hi, there. Some natural remedies take longer to work than medical remedies. The yogurt and garlic were a great place to start. How many days did you use those therapies? A couple things that might help are: eat more garlic and take garlic supplements; add some tea tree oil or a tiny bit of oregano oil to the yogurt (add 2 drops tea tree oil and 1 drop garlic to 1/2 cup garlic); drink 8-16 oz of pure water with 1 drop of oregano oil in it every morning.

It sounds as if your yeast infection has been around for a while and will therefore take more time to eliminate. Although the 1-day treatment seemed to work, chances are it cured the symptoms but did not completely eradicate the yeast infection. Taking herbal antifungals internally and using the external remedies may kill the yeast -- but it may take 1-2 weeks. While you're treating the yeast infection, try to follow the candida infection as closely as possible. Eating foods that cause the candida to multiply will quickly cause the treatments to fail.

Another thought is that you might want to have the discharge analyzed by your doctor to make sure it truly is a yeast infection and is not a bacterial infection.

I know how frustrating this must be. I've had similar problems for most of my life. Treating the candida and sticking to a general detox program has completely eliminated my issues. I wish you the best of luck! Don't give up!

  8. Just take acidophilus tablets, double the dose listed on the bottle,.. approximately 2 capsules twice a day.

It will resolve in a few days.

They sell them at all health food stores.   I would recommend Solray or Rainbow Light brands, which are non-dairy source and have a broader spectrum of beneficial bacteria in them than yogurt culture.

Garlic capsules will also be helpful for an overall immunity boost.

I wouldn't suggest placing dairy products in your reproductive tract.

  9. If it is a yeast infection then try it . Also if that doesn't work it is safe to try monistat 5-7 day treatments with pregnancy . Make sure it is 5 day minimum though . I have a severe immune deficiency and get infections almost once a month and am currently pregnant with my 4th and this is what they have me try before giving me a prescribed medication .

  10. yes it works. Just use a very pure yogurt.Something like the Bulgarian
