Does this bother anybody else?

I hate it when the cable channels put ads promoting future shows right on the screen down in the lower corner. It won't be too long and they will be doing Dunkin Donut commercials over the top of shows. I do'nt mind the little TNT in the right but i would like to see all of the picture. Do'nt tell me we are not aying. every month we get a cable bill. Oh well i will go get aa scotch and cool down.

Appropriately, this is called a "bug" (AKA "Digital on-screen graphic").

I don't like that, either. If I want to know what's coming on, I have a t.v. guide right there on the t.v.  And I'm not so stupid that I can't figure out what channel I'm watching. I don't need a huge, animated logo in the corner.

Bugs the s**t out of me too. Especially when the ad for another show starts with a character popping up before anything else, then I'm thinking that it's part of the show I'm watching. Then the name of that show pops up. It's all about that ad money. The more they can cram in, the more money they get. Sucks. But I also hate the little TNT logo in the lower corner, but at least I know when a commercial is coming because it usually disappears like 3 secs before a commercial break.

Yeah, it can be REALLY annoying, especially when it's animated...little gnomes running across the bottom of the screen.  It's worse when you tape and watch something months after the fact, and the advertised show isn't even available to watch, but you want to

You can always do something about it. Just press that button that has the letters OFF above it. If enough people do it, they'll get the message.

it bothers me too! especially when i am watching a show that has subtitles because a character is talking in another language.
