Question:

Does this matter? (g*y/bi question)?

Ok here is my last question.....today.....

In the bible, it says that homosexuals will surely burn in h**l or something. I dont agree with that. What is the difference between the love of a man to man, woman to woman, or straight couple? They all love eachother...no difference.

Ok next question....Can your lover, male/female, be in your heart? Not anywhere near the love for Jesus but ya know.."Jesus can this person just smidge a little room in there? Thank you"

If you are g*y but engage in no sexual acts...(s*x) only kissing and loving a person of the same s*x. Is that a sin???

If you repent for being g*y....does it matter? Will it help?

Last question....How can you live everyday happy with yourself when you know that it is a sin???

  1. There is no problem.  Love is love.  However, people can make ANY kind of "love" perverted.  That means going from partner to partner, cheating, etc.

YES your lover can be in your heart.  I can't explain the feeling....you just feel that they are always with you, much like one's relationship with God.

No it is not a sin.

You can't stop liking the same s*x.  I've tried MANY times.  I'm happy to have accepted who I am. =)  It did not harm my relationship with God at all.

It's NOT a sin.  I am happy with myself because I have the ability to LOVE.  Why does it matter if it is another guy?  Who cares?

Tom M is WRONG.  Nearly every species ever studied has exhibited homosexual behavior.  A constant 7-10% of animals show this.  Look it up.  Don't make statements that are complete lies.

  2. I don't want to be g*y

    Stop trying to convert me.

  3. You sound like a good person. The Lord loves everyone who follows the word of the Lord.

Homosexuality is genetic and is not chosen. Do you think the Lord hates people who are born blind or deaf? Of course not. He loves all good Christians, no matter how "different" they are.

And I think Jesus would be really happy that you love others, as its the basis of Christianity. There is no limit to the amount of people you can love, and Jesus won't get jealous! God bless, and remember, the Lord loves every Christian.

  4. "homosexual" was a term coined in 1869 so it isn't a sin and the bible has been mistranslated

  5. there is no sin. if 2 consenting adults do something for pleasure and to fulfill their urges. sexual or emotional.

God never preaches hatered. He never preaches such things. But cruel humans have interpreted the bible the way it suits them best.

g*y, Straight or Bi,  its dictated by the genes, how can god ever give you the power to feel sexually towards the same s*x and then call it sin.

are we hinting that god is Hippocratic.?

    Love sees no gender.

  6. Since you're concerned about the opinion Christianity holds on the subject of homosexuality, here's your answer:  Jesus Christ said absolutely nothing on the subject.

Sure, a few other writers of the Bible said disparaging things here and there, but some of them were rather outlandish.  Just look at that nutjob Leviticus -- he called for stoning to death anyone who wears red clothing, or even two different types of cloth!  Talk about one bitter fashion queen.

The Bible is called the word of God, but you can't escape the simple, basic fact that it was nonetheless physically written by human beings.  As such, they were no different from any other writer -- no matter how they tried, their own opinions and prejudices and fears affected their writing to some degree.

Anyway, Christ was all about love and forgiveness -- something a lot of his followers conveniently ignore.  And speaking as someone who was born g*y, I really don't think that God's goal with me was to create someone who was some kind of immediate abomination -- God doesn't make mistakes.

As for h**l, it's only for those who reject God.

  7. Psst... try the "Religion & Spirituality" category ;)

  8. Love as thou wilt.

  9. I love myself that am bisexual, so i don't care.

  10. I don't believe in god, so this is all moot for me.

    Bring on the g*y s*x!

  11. No other animal has same s*x relations.

I love men, women and some animals but I only have s*x with a woman.

    Love OK s*x not OK

    Sin   You read the Bible!

If you repent you will be saved.

Rear door is a exit only.

  12. No difference. Well, maybe a difference but love is love, whatever kind of love.

    Duh.

Lust is a sin it's self. Well, according to the bible. :] Humans, g*y or straight, are screwed.

    That's what they say.

Everyone sins. According to a book. Live life to the fullest, Be happy. Sin or not, people deserve to be happy.

  13. Having sexual thoughts before marriage or even in passing about anyone other than your spouse is a sin, how do people live with that?

Because it's not a sin. It's made up baloney to scare people into acting the way other people want them to.

  14. If you don't agree with the bible, theres not need to question it. I don't believe in a 2 thousand year old book telling me what life is either - lets have g*y s*x on it then burn it.

  15. God is a loving God, there is nothing to repent, no sins in loving.

I think people need to take the bible with a grain of salt, after all it was actually written by man (as in human, not trying to start anything here)

The people who wrote the bible wrote of things that happened & tried to explain what happened, giving everything a reason & reducing their fears of the enormity of it all (life, nature, the world, why things happen as they do etc.)  but the opinions of these people also found their way into the bible.

I do believe there is truth in the bible but one must consider that the hands that wrote it were human and its rather difficult to write without putting some of yourself into it, just ask around, anytime something big occurs there could be 20 witnesses & I'll bet each witness has a slightly different version of the events and I'll also bet that by the time they get to writing it down in their diaries their own version will be slightly different. Just imagine how it must have been when writing tools were not readily available & it could be months before they had the opportunity to put it all down.

  16. I do not believe in the content of your ible or in your god, so I can live easily as a g*y man without having to think if your interpretation of the bible has any validity.
