  1. No that radio does not play/control the ipod I recommend the Sony CDXGT620IP. It has a special feature know as the "Quick Browser". It lets you scroll through Ipod in any order and breaks the songs down into genre artist playlists etc... with one of the radio that you are looking at (Sony CDXGT420IP (the one that controls the Ipod)) you have to unplug the Ipod then change the playlists if you want something different or just keep hitting the scroll button. The 620 is soo much better I recommend them to any of my customers who have an Ipod. Well good Luck Hoped I Helped DUECES!!!!


  2. yea it does i have a radio that has that usb in the front all you have to do is plug your usb from the ipod in there and it should work. the only downside it will take longer to play the song and the song informtion is not going to be on display. but hey its better than having a100 cds in the car.

  3. It has a AUX input.  So it should play ANY mp3 player.
