Does this sound correct?

so I was at my Dentist app and I heard some woman say...

"The one that amy always uses"

is it correct to say it like that. or is it just me who thinks it doesn't sound right???

  1. Standing alone and not knowing what came before it, the fragment doesn't make sense. If the woman was responding to a question such as , "What toothpaste do you like?", then it makes sense  as a response,


  2. It sounds correct and is correct.

  3. It's perfectly all right in conversation, although I personally prefer that "the one" refer to a brand of toothpaste or some other product rather than a person.
