I would say that it does, particularly if it's an extreme temperature.  Plants have enzymes, just as animals, and enzymes have a specific range of temperatures at which they can function.  If a plant were take in water of a different temperature, the enzymes may not function as effectively, perhaps not at all.  If the water is too cold or too hot, it may damage the root hairs where absorption takes place by freezing or cooking the roots, killing them.

    Also, materials will dissolve better in warm water than cold, so that might make a difference in how much nutrients a plant would be able to absorb with the water.
