Does your baby eat cereal bars?

Question

I know a couple of mom's out here give their babies cereal bars! If so, what kind do you normally buy? I bought the Gerber cereal bars this morning and I'm going to let him try one this evening to see if he likes them before sending them with him to daycare. (He's 9 months old.)

What brand does your baby eat?

Nutri Grain cut into small squares.  My children like the apple cinnamon and the strawberry.

I get the Gerber or Parent's Choice. Landon loves the apple cinnamon flavor. He's over there in his high chair right now eating one and some Cheerios. You can buy the regular cereal bars though, because it's basically the same thing.

I saw the reply to your question that mentioned cereal bar and I ALMOST bought some at the store.  I don't think Emma would do well with Gerber because I imagine they are soft and she would crumble them up.  Maybe one that had a harder consistency like a rice cake would be better.  If he does mush them up though, you could always cut them up into pieces first.

Mine likes the Earth's Best organic ones.. they are soft and moist.

sure!! great finger food that is not all bad for him like fruit snacks and stuff like that! My daughter loves the Nutri-Grain cherry kind!

my babies loved the Nutri Grain bars. And still do. They are 4, and 6. Mainly strawberry. That with a glass of milk works great as a snack in between lunch and dinner because it's so filling on the tummy.

i've given my son the bars with the fruit..thats what you mean right?  i just bought any old brand that was made with real fruit.  gets kind of messy too, so be prepared, becasue im sure your little one will want to play with it first to see what it is.

My daughter loved cereal bars when she was around that age! We always bought the Nutri-Grain kind. But you know what? Now, at age 3 she won't even touch them. Go figure!
