Does your toddler drink milk?

Why or why not?

My kids drank milk as toddlers (and now too), but I try to get them to eat other foods rich in calcium.  There are studies that show that it's not easily absorbed from milk.  There are several civilizations where dairy is not really in their diets, but they have fine calcium levels.  I personally cannot eat dairy, so I am watchful of any stomach issues they have with it.

Yes, they all do.  With 7 kids we go through a gallon or more every day!

one glass a day,   shes 3,  milk is good for you

Only rice milk and it's one cup a day or with cereal.  My 5 yod has a dairy sensitivity.  I also have strong opinions about regular milk and the hormones/antibioics they use with the cows.

My 23 month old will only drink it out of a bottle. He has it twice a day. His pediatrician said he needs 18 oz a day and it can be in the form of yogurt or cheese.

My daughter is 18 months and has a sippy cup of milk with every meal, but she only gets a couple ounces at the most each meal. However, if I put it in a bottle, she gulps it up. Go figure....LOL.

She *does* eat a lot of yogurts and cheeses, so I am not too worried about her calcium intake.

i give her organic cow's milk because she is a picky eater, and i am concerned about adequate calcium. however, it seems ruby does not like milk. i have not yet decided whether or not i am concerned about this...personally, i'd prefer if she never drank cow's milk, but, you know, again: the calcium. her baby vitamins don't have calcium, and i am not yet able to get enough into her in food -- well, that may not be true. it is hard to say. i am giving it another week, and if she still is not drinking milk, i am going to consult a nutritionist to evaluate whether or not it is necessary in her diet.
