Download dvds on ur computer?

Question

idk if it's possible but how to you download ur dvds on to ur computer. Because i wanted to make youtube videos from my dvds...i'm not to sure how to make them... do other people even use there dvds for videos?

heres an exampe of what i'd like to make..

It can be done but you will need special software. Unfortunately I have not found any that I would recommend.

well, to save the dvds to your hard drive you have to have software.nowadays it is kinda hard to find good dvd ripping software because the people who produce the dvds wanna make sure they have good copy protection on there discs so it isnt easy for anyone to share copies of the movies but you can rip them remember there is always a way. so you can use this software it is pretty fast and easy

so that takes care of getting the dvds on your computer or you can download the movies directly off the internet if you are willing to enter the wonderful world of torrents you just download off of thepiratebay.org

or mininova.com those are the best then you need a torrent client the best i would say is azureus or vuze as it is now called then just open the files you downloaded off the torrent sites into vuze and let it download it is usually faster if you pick one with more seeders and less leechers but torrents take some knowledge to operate them read a wikipedia article or google it or something its worth it!

to upload your full dvds to youtube it would be hard because youtube only allows like i dont know 30 minutes worth of video max unless you find some sort of compression software its been done i just dont know how!

if you want to make clips of videos like you said and combine them all together into one video them i would recommend windows movie maker or some kind of video editing software

like i said some people download them from torrents or rip there owned dvds

oh yeah you do need a dvd drive make sure you have one that plays dvds then you should be good
