Downtown St. Louis restaurant?

can anyone suggest a good local restaurant in downtown St. Louis for a nice meal? Something upscale, but not stuffy.....good food?

  1. I would suggest a great little restaurant near downtown that is called the St. Louis Bread Company.  They have spectactular salads, drinks, deserts and the like.  Best of luck to you.


  2. just south of downtown near the brewery you have the broadway oyster bar, good cajun and creole and very laid back.  on pestalozzi just west of the brewery there's fraziers, good food easy going atmosphere.  downtown is kind of a dead zone in stl for good food.
