Dream Interpertation?

My mother had a dream about my father who has passed away 9yrs ago- in her dream she said that She saw him and he was talking to her but very upset but can't remember what he said, and she also saw my daughter, but my daughter was me, and she had waited to see if he was going to tell her to come to him, because she had argued with my stepfather, but he didn't say anything to her, but the expression on face told her he was very angry with her.

So now she trying to figure out what it means

There are a few things at play here, but foremost, your mother is experiencing a very emotional time.  

It is almost as though she is reliving and linking (quite possibly subconsciously) an argument that she had in the past, with the argument between you and your husband in the present.  It would seem that you discussed your present day argument with her which might have triggered this dream.  If not, it could be just a mothers intuition.. and a reflection to a mistake she feels she has made.

You don't go into detail concerning what the argument was about, but I believe more than anything, your mother is harboring feelings of guilt.  Something she was never able to resolve.  She saw your daughter, but it was you - could only mean you when you were younger - therefore, the past.

Regardless, she is looking to your father for guidance, and he was angry because she feels as though she has made a wrong decision and is trying to find justification or a way to go back and repair.
