Dream about fire?

Question

I had a dream last night that I was trapped inside a burning house with my baby daughter. I never actually saw the flames or felt any heat from them I just knew the house was on fire. It ended on a happy note, I remember being rescued ( by Dr. Patrick Drake from General Hospital, but that's beside the point...lol) and he carried us down on his back. I do remember having to leave one other woman behind. Just curious if anyone has any knowledge on this matter. I would love to know what this means.

It may reflect some situation in your like where you trapped.  I could just relate to the fact you are feeling the responsibilities for your daughter and being a mother.  It is positive there was no actual burning or pain from the flames suggesting you are handling these event in your life well.  Dr. Drake is likely just the knight in shining armor person to take you away from everything.  The leaving one woman behind suggest there may be someone in your life that is interfering with your lifestyle and you may have to decease this relationship in order to fulfill your goals.

Maybe you just remembered a situation you had been in when you were a baby girl, or it could mean something eventful is going to take place in your life. Just my guess!!

What happened during the day before the dream? That would give some possible clues to the subject matter.

And it is hard to interpret without knowing the dreamers feelings.

Were you frightened? How did you feel about leaving the woman behind? What do you need rescuing from, even if somebody else can't be saved?

Answering and asking yourself questions such as these will lead you to your own interpretation. And it isn't always easy.

Was the rescue satisfying? That would tell you some of the resolution of your feelings. If you felt satisfied it might mean that getting out of the situation, the fire and what it represents was enough.
