Question:

Dream interpretors...?

I used to be obsessed with interpreting my dreams and others and read on them all the time but I can't figure a little part of my dream last night. I have pretty vivid long dreams so I'll just ask on this fragment, and I'll break it into bits:

-really overweight girl

-cuts off her skin (like its a fat-suit basically)

-she's really sad and upset and not wanting to do it

-she has weird sh*t inside her like her entrails are messed up

-wherever i went in this part of my dream she's be there crying

-sometimes i couldn't see her, she was behind doors

And don't bother with the "It's a dream it doesn't mean anything!" stuff, fklsajdfkdsjfa boring.

I think I can't work it out because its something major on my mind and I'm kind of blocking it. I'm hoping if someone touches on the right bit I'll be able to see.

Thanks! And sorry for the morbidity haha.

  1. This is simple.

    skin = protection/covering (generally) but is also representative of the "outside".

    This dream is not about "outside" versus "inside" beauty; (and self-esteem in regards to body image) but it is relative to self-image in terms of responsibility. (life, work, home etc)and the pressures thereof that are becoming to "heavy" to deal with.

    The overweight girl represnets = a person of whom is unhappy with themselves and is "heavy" with stress and or anxiety. (Burdens);

    (Just because you dream of someone overweight does not mean that THIS is what it always represents. In this case, it is.) The person is over-burdened, and weary.

    I think the person you were dreaming about is In real life, not at all "overweight".  The weight represents "burdens" and her taking on more [responsibility] than she should. (and/or the pressures of life in general)

    She pulls the skin off = she releases herself from those "responsibilities" (the unnecessary pressures and things that were "weighing" her down).

    Her insides are all messed up = her priorities are out of order. Maybe this person needs to take care of herself FIRST before over-extending herself to help everyone else (OR) at the job? or home or in general.

    She's always crying in the dream, because she is unhappy and overburdened and feels like she "can't do it anymore". It's too much pressure and she is stressed.

    Always behind doors (when she crys or whatever) = she does this in private. On the outside, she puts up a show (or front) that everything is okay (with her, her life and her work) but "INSIDE" she's messed up and miserable.  She crys, when no one is looking.

    This is the meaning of your dream.

    In my opinion, it could be that you are dreaming of yourself (which isn't bad, as we've all been in this type of situation before IRL, where we are overstressed or going through a difficult time and we don't want anyone else to know) or it could be of someone that you know personally (family friend etc). I do not see that part, i only see the meaning.

    Take it with a grain of salt.

    xD

  2. well, skin would be your covering, protection.

    I tried to think of what could an overweight girl represent;

    most dreams are about ourselves; I'm sure you already know that.

    When I think of overweight, I think invisible; mostly because that's the way you're viewed or see yourself when you're overweight.

    messed up inside.

    the doors are not opening right now- maybe like doors of opportunity

    not sure if this will give you a start; hopefully it will help.

  3. I'm pretty sure it means you're hungry.
