Dreaming????

I was reading New Moon (Twilight) before I fell asleep, and I had a dream I was trapped and couldn't get out of my dream (weird, I know).

But, strangely, I'd rather have nightmares. And I've been having a lot of them recently. But, for a few days now (maybe three or four at most), I've been dazed in the Twilight books. But I think the first or second nightmares I've had came before I started reading them (again ^_^).

How can I continue to have nightmares?? Will they ware off when the dazed feeling wares off??

  1. Shoe polish?

  2. When a person is enthralled or pre-occupied with something it often stays in the sub-conscience until there is time to think about it again.  If you have been very busy lately then perhaps the only time to do any evaluation is when you are asleep.  This must have left quite an impression on you to dominate your dreams.  I would suggest going to sleep with a favorite song in your head, or an experience that rocked your world or made you smile to concentrate on, and try not to panic in a dream when you cannot get out of it, remind yourself it is only a dream and you are safe to enjoy or learn from it, you can truly give yourself some power, and wake up feeling NEW!

  3. read that books again and just imagine you in dream to have a nightmares....

  4. Whats a sub conscience? Dont you mean subconscious

Any neural stimulation leaves traces in your neuro-chemistry typically in your sense regions and cortex NOT in your subconscious mind which is something totally different. The more stimulating the stimulus the more of a trace it leaves, sleep helps us to organise these traces into more permanent memories. If you wake during the dream you remember it which allows you to experience it. If you dont wake or rouse you wont remember it. If you really want more nightmares break your sleep pattern, you are more likley to experience your dream in restless sleep i.e. if your arent sleeping thoroughly think scary thoughts before going to sleep and have power naps.
