I might sound insane, I'm not, just came to my mind.

Do you thing a day will come that science will be able to interprete human dreams, hallucinations (Visual and Auditory), even thoughts, by transfering brain waves or neuronal discharges, or saved memories (recent, old or new) in the brain into images and sounds to be seen on a screen?.

Thanks

  1. The danger here would be the risk of a TOTAL invasion of privacy!

Even if they were able to capture it and play it on a screen, that would not reveal the meaning of the dream.  That calls for wisdom, and wisdom is not something that can be programmed into a machine!

  2. God i wish they could. Scientists have just managed to interpret brain waves to move prosthetic limbs, so interpreting dreams and hallucinations may be a way off. Also, most scientists think only of science and not of figments of the brain. I think that being able to do that would be a giant leap in science- to hold all of your memories and go over them in clarity. maybe you can invent it?
