Driver Intro's.....?

Okay. Every race I've been to, ALL the driver's get booed at one time or another... that includes Dale you Jr. fans. Mostly Kyle Busch and Jeff Gordon. But why? All Kyle does is play the game! Its annoying that everytime he goes around, that he gets booed. Just because he hit Dale Jr. one time, GET over it!

Seriously, its just POOR sportsmanship!

Don't be so immature and dis/boo them!

Who else agrees?

  1. I'm not sure that my favorite driver, Bobby Labonte has ever gotten booed!  There always has to be someone that you love and someone that you hate.  Have fun cheering for the one you love and booing the one you hate.

  2. Oh he loves to hear them Boo, but by the end of the race they are cheering him since he won. Love to hate him or Hate to Love him?

Respectful Driver and by God a Champion.

  3. I don't consider it poor sportsmanship at all to boo.  Throwing things is another story booing is totally acceptable.

It's the excitement and the adrenaline that gets me going.  When I am at a race and my favorite drivers come out I scream, yell, jump up and down I do everything I can to show my support.

Same goes when the drivers I don't like come around, I scream, yell, jump up and down to show my distaste of them.  It's all good.

If we all liked the same teams it would be boring.  I have many friends that are die hard fans of drivers I can't stand.  We banter back and forth & argue a lot, but I still love them even though they have made poor choices.

I couldn't imagine being at a race and every driver that comes out they all get happy little claps.  We'd be like the stepford fans.  No thanks I need to express myself.  I don't point and yell at other fans just the teams I have issues with.

  4. Dew fan is right, why did Jr. wreck Kyle last year in the chase when he was going for a championship just because he knew he couldn't beat him?

People boo and throw things and that's what makes people think it's a redneck sport full of drunks. The sooner those people go the sooner NASCAR gets more respect, and more people will have the desire to attend the races

  5. All sports have booing. I doubt most of the drivers even hear it anymore. I always listen to how many cheers a driver gets, not the boos. I guess I am a glass half full kind of person.

  6. Kyle is a great driver with a lot of talent NASCAR fans should respect that you don't see Jimmie or Dale going over there a trashing down on him.

I really feel bad for Dale though although I don't think he's anywhere as skillful as his dad was but I really think if he had his dad still with him things would be a lot different.

  7. Jr fans think if they boo any driver BETTER than Jr (A LOT) then somehow they can make Jr win races...when face it, there's no substitute for a lack of talent. Boo all you want, Jr still stinks.

  8. It's the same thing as what goes on in here. You have childish people wherever you go. For example in here (Yahoo Answers) the equivalent to beer throwing is "Thumbs Downing" someone just because they say something negative about Dale Jr. It doesn't matter what the truth is. You still have these "cyber beer throwers" from the Dale Jr fans in here that just proves my point.

It's just childishness. But then again look at Dale Jr.

Just watch what happens with the thumbs down.

  9. This is comming from a Jr fan.........

ur right there are so many unkind peole in the sport  and its mostly from other jr fans kind of pissess me off

Im gonna give everyone a thumbs up (unless there answer is a iece of c**p)

  10. it's also poor sportsmanship to spin someone out just because you know they will beat you.

  11. It's the same thing as what goes on in here. You have childish people wherever you go. For example in here (Yahoo Answers) the equivalent to beer throwing is "Thumbs Downing" someone just because they say something negative about Kyle Busch. It doesn't matter what the truth is. You still have these "cyber beer throwers" from the Kyle Busch fans in here that just proves my point.

It's just childishness. But then again look at Kyle Busch.

Just watch what happens with the thumbs down.

  12. I don't have the heart to boo anyone.  When I was at Indy, they were driving around the track with the drivers in the bed of the trucks like they do... and they were so close!!!  I hate Jeff, Jimmie, and Kyle, but still cheered for them.  ha.. I know they are all great drivers and I appreciate them all.

  13. They used to boo DW and Dale Sr as well. Everyone hates a winner. Did you see last night within the first few laps of the truck race Kyle Busch tried to spin out the leader, Johnny Benson? How Benson didn't spin out, was because he's a good driver. It messed up his tires though. So, when Shrub passed him, did Johnny retaliate? No, because he's a class act. Yeah, that's good racing all right on Shrub's part.

  14. i definently agree, although i dont like kyle busch i will not go as low as to boo him, i dont boo any driver. as for jeff gordon, i went to a pocono race and everyone booed him, that made me angry. how can you boo a 4 time champion, someone who will go down as one of the best drivers in nascar history, it really is sad that so many people cant show respect.

  15. I disagree.  I will continue to boo the drivers I dislike.  And I remember correctly, many of us disliked Busch before the Dale Jr incident.  I dont even like Jr but I've disliked that guy for years.  Booing is part of sports. Get over it.  I'm sure the drivers do and immediately.
