Driving Priveliges?

my boyfriend applied to comcast, cablevision, and direct tv. They did not hire him even though he meets all requirements. Do you think they did not hire him because he has 6 points on his license because of an accident? and if he goes to driving school will they take all of the points off?

  1. 6 points are a lot in this state(mass.) The Co. will not hire you with that many points. You will have the points for 6 years, and going to driving school will do nothing for your points. You might try for an appeal with the state, but that can be as long as a year if they even grant you an appeal. If you win the appeal, the state will drop the points. Talk to your ins. co. It will cost you 50 dollars to file for an appeal which is nonrefundable. Good luck.

  2. I am sorry but yes that is the reason that they did not hire him because he is considered a high risk and as for driving school, the points are already on his license so I dont think that they will be removed until at least three years.

  3. yes the points are the reason he is not getting hired.  Each state is different on point removal.  The state in which I was a officer you had 3 points removed each year you went with a clean driving record. Contact your Dept of Trans for your state to see if points would be remove from a class. But keep in mind this does NOT change the driving record, and this is what most company's base their decisions on not points.
