Driving permit. eyecheck.?

So i have to get my permit this month or else I can't get it until another 6months... everyone tells me taht. My birthday was in jan. And I didn't get my permit. I passed the written and i start driving behind the wheel tmrw. But first i have to go to a DMV and get my eyes checked. But the problem is that I lsot my glasses and I can not find them. Do you think I can pass if I wore my sister's contacts. I tried them on and it seems like it's no problem. and her prescription is a little stronger but it did not strain my eyes when I wore it for a day.

Another question.. Is 20/20 vision mean you can see everything within 20 feet. could I pass with a 19/20.

Are they lenient when they check.

you should be able to get a way with it if you don't make too many mistakes, 19/20 is good.

you have 2 pass i forgot my glasses and failed. if her perscription is close to yours then maybe try and if you fail tell them and they give you a pass back to the front of the line:)

go up to the counter and memorize the chart from close up. Then when they have you read it, you will know it.  Also, if you have trouble they have this eye test machine type thing that is on the counter and you look in it to take the test (in CA) so yes they are lenient. Are you sure you take an eye test for permit?
