Driving test.?

Question

hey i just tured 17 and am getting my lisence soon. With my permit i have been driving alot in the past 6, 8 months.

This sunday i have that 5 hr course, can someone tell me about that??

My parents and friends parents say i'm a really good driver, but i'm scared about the road test.

I have onely paralell parked once lol TIPS???

please help!!!

I'm in  the same boat that you're in, I'm attempting to go get my license for the first time, this upcoming Monday. I'm not sure about your state, however my state doesn't require us to parallel park during the road test. The only advice I'd have is to remain calm, go slow, go through the motions, and make sure that you use your signals and mirrors properly.

just do your best, parallel parking wont make you fail unless you destroy the car....

the road test is easy, for me it was

a right turn

a merge onto a main road

a left turn

parking into a space

I never took any courses. When i turned 18 i hadn't been driving for too long. You should be ok as long as you follow the driving rules and let go og that fear you'll be fine. I've noticed that when people go into the test too scared or too relaxed thats when they mess up the most. So just go in there and do your thing, if they say your good, you probably are.

Parrelel parking if you can get 2 wheelie bins space them about the same distance as a car parking space and reverse into the gap once you are doing ok move them closer together until you know you can't fit between them , Practice should only take a few hours and once you can do it no worries it will be easy to park and you will be able to park just about any where with ease knowing how long your car is and how to turn it in.

The course will introduce you to the car and the way to drive, they will cover the rules of the road and the meaning of road signs.

Parallel parking............

Use your turn signal to indicate the direction of the parking spot.

If the space is not yet vacant but the car in it is about to leave, wait behind the spot.

When the space is vacant, pull ahead of it until you have pulled up beside the car parked in front of the space. Your rear bumper should be even with that car's rear bumper with about 2 feet of road between you.

Put the car in reverse. Begin to back up slowly; as soon as the car starts moving, turn the wheel as far as it will go toward the curb.

Back slowly into the space.



When the back of your car's front door is even with the rear bumper of the car beside you, begin turning the wheel away from the curb.

Continue turning the wheel away from the curb and backing slowly into the space.

Straighten out the wheel, then pull forward or back in the space as needed to center yourself between the cars in front of and behind you. Your car should be 6 to 8 inches from the curb when you are parked.

hey. you are a good driver. you won't pass if you are scared. go practise some more. just study the book and burn it in your brain. it will be easy. but study  study study. and practice on the paralell parking.
