Dual screen computer?

Question

I recently purcahsed an Nvidia graphics card which came with another port for my monitor. Now i have two ports. I use the working one for a projector, and i would like to use the old monitor output to hook my monitor up to. I am tired of changing the projector to the monitor and back and forth. anyone know how to make it so i can can have it show the screen from both, instead of just the nvidia?

right click on your desktop and go to proprieties and the go to settings, click on the second display and click on the option extend my desktop in to this monitor or clone it
