My fiance and I will be travelling to Ireland for our honeymoon. We arrive in Dublin an take a self-drive tour through the south to the east and back across to Dublin. He wants to get a tattoo while we are there, are there any reputable shops in Dublin or perhaps Killarney, Cork, or Shannon. Preferably Dublin though, I figure we can have our honeymoon with the least discomfort if he tats on the last day :D

  1. I would personally recommend "Snakebite" on middle abbey street. Its just around the corner from O' Connel street in Dublin and you'll definately be there. Another one that is very good is the Celestial ring, it is located on the top floor of the Stephens Green shooping center. You cant miss that one either. Its right beside stephens green park at the top of grafton street. Its a big building with a glass roof.

  2. Snake Bite in Middle Abbey Street, just off O'Connell Street.  Have a great stay in Dubh Linn!!  And congrats on the marriage!!

  3. my friend went to celestial ring, its the top floop of St stephens green shopping centre. you'll have no problem finding it. theres a park(Stephen green) at the top of the main shopping street (grafton st) and you'll see a big white shopping centre.

otherwise the main one I know is Metamorphosis (i think that how you spell it) its a tattoo/piercing place. its in Temple bar (the nightlife/tourist spot). just head straight through from dame st to the quays and you should see it. if you get lost go to the main square ant ask someone. its beside the bad asss cafe.

have a fun honeymoon... be prepared for the rain ; )

  4. Hey, I can definitely recommend John at Ink Well Tattoo, 41 Aaron Quay, Dublin. Its on the North Side of the River (Liffey) right next door to a club called the Voodoo Lounge. Your hotel will give you more specific directions if you ask for Aaron Quay. They're lovely down there, clean, modern spacious shop. And they do great work, I made a documentary about them so witnessed them work a lot. I've also gotten some piercings from them. John's great, really artistic, will take your idea and make it a million times better and more beautiful.
