Dvd decoder problems!?

Question

i tried to play a dvd on my computer but got a message sayin ..

Windows Media Player cannot play this DVD because a compatible DVD decoder is not installed on your computer.

can any on help me please

You need dvd codecs.  Install the K-Lite codec pack or install a free media player that plays dvd's.  VLC is very good  http://www.videolan.org/vlc/.  You do not need to use it to play dvds but windows media player can use the codecs it installs to play dvd.

Install Gomplayer, and all your problems are over

It plays anything and is free
